Nouran Sallam is an Egyptian British journalist and TV presenter currently pursuing her PhD qualification at the University of Derby, UK. Her areas of interest include Middle East current affairs, political science and crisis journalism. A background of field reporting has taken Nouran to various hot spots around the world, such as the Arab spring demonstrations in 2011 and the Moscow opposition protests of 2012. Her favourite wind-down strategies include running, and a passion for an eclectic mix of music.
