Research focuses on the use of social media for decolonization efforts in post-Soviet countries. She presented her research at international conferences, including IAMCR 2024 in New Zealand. She is the author of several books in Kazakh and the founder of Kazunite, a company that owns the first Kazakh online newspaper in the USA.
